PLT Scientific Sdn Bhd (PLT), a pioneer and leader in scientific glassware technology in Malaysia, has been manufacturing standard conical-joint interchangeable laboratory glassware since 1989. The years of experience gained in scientific glass manufacturing technology has propelled PLT to venture into developing and manufacturing of high precision volumetric glassware in 1993 bearing the name FAVORIT which now personified scientific glassware in the Malaysian market. Both the standard interchangeable and the volumetric glassware we manufacture, and in combination with Duran, PLT can supply the complete spectrum of scientific glassware.In 2003 we further expanded our manufacturing capacity in order to meet ever increasing demands for scientific glassware, which is in tandem with the expansion of research and development encouraged by the Malaysian government. The fast pace of industrialization in Malaysia has also contributed to our growth.All scientific laboratories whether in industry or research facilities require very high precision and accurate volumetric glass apparatus. In order to meet these stringent requirements, PLT's passion, experience, and commitment are the pre-requisites for precision and accuracy. To produce high precision volumetric apparatus needs high quality glass blanks as precursors, all of which are manufactured in-house.PLT's calibration facilities are state-of- the-art German made machines. Therefore, all FAVORIT volumetric glassware are highly accurate and precise for long term stability and reliability.
