Snow plough blades in polyurethane or Vulkollan

We manuifacture snow plough blades according the customer's need, in different hardness with high quality polyurethanes, in order to guarantee the highest durability over time without damaging the street. 

Our snow blades can be easily fixed on the tractor bucket.

Cervellati is specialized in making blades for snowplough blades both in polyurethane and Vulkollan ®.

The latter material guarantees exceptional performance due to its characterstic high resistance and elasticity.

Vulkollan snow plow is the ideal solution for moving large quantities of snow or ice and for its durability also at low temperatures.

We can produce snowplow blades in sizes up to 300 cm long and 300 cm high, in thicknesses varying from 20 to 60 mm.

What is polyurethane and what types we offer

Polyurethane is a complex polymer with technical characteristics which guarantee a significant resistance, flexibility and resistance to wear-and-tear.

Over the years, Cervellati has developed extensive experience in using different types of polyester and polyether based Polyurethane MDI, as well as Vulkollan Bayer.

Cervellati offers a series of standard products such as hollow and solid bars, sheets, blades, etc..., and strong specialisation in industrial wheel coverings also in large sizes. We also produce technical items to customer specifications.

Technical Characteristics

- Polyurethane, and especially the MDI-Polyester system, offers high mechanical performance

- Polyurethane is extremely resistant to corrosive chemical agents, hydrolysis, impact and contact with abrasive moving parts

- Resistance to high temperatures up to 80-90°C

- High breaking loads

- Guarantees minimal heat accumulation due to internal friction

Solid Vulkollan for industrial spare parts, wheels and custom-made industrial products

Vulkollan®, made from Desmodur® 15 (NDI), is one of the most powerful elastomers in the market, combining highest mechanical load-bearing characteristics with highest dynamic load-bearing capacity. Therefore, the ultra-high-performance elastomer Vulkollan® is preferably used for superior tasks in many technical fields.

Solid Vulkollan® is produced through chemical reactions between Vulkollan® polyols, Desmodur® 15 and glycols. Cervellati covers a Vulkollan hardness range from approx. 65 Shore A up to 92 Sh°A. and can only be manufactured by processors licensed by the only Vulkollan owner and manufacturer, Covestro AG.
