feature
*IP66 Weatherproof: This product is suitable for domestic water use.
* Auto power off when flipped up: When you press the button on the side of the stand and lift the device up until it reaches the top position, the device will automatically turn off. Press the same button to lower the monocular to the viewing position and the device will turn on to continue operation.
* Standby without power consumption: It means forgetting to remove the battery for a few days without power consumption.
*Embedded spring in battery cover: Makes screwing the cover easier and better protects the spring and contact with the battery.
*Fully Adjustable Headstock:Headstock can be adjusted according to head size.
*Military-grade multi-coated lens: Multi-layer anti-reflection coating can suppress the reflection of the lens, reduce the loss of light, let more light pass through the lens, and obtain a clear image.
* Automatic brightness control: When the ambient light changes, the detected image brightness remains unchanged, ensuring stable viewing effect and protecting users' eyesight.
* Bright source protection: When the ambient light exceeds 40 lux, the device will automatically shut down within 10 seconds to avoid damage to the image intensifier tube.
* Low battery indicator: When the battery is low, the green light on the edge of the eyepiece will start flashing.
Precautions:
1. Do not disassemble the unit.
2.It is best to use the device at +5°C to +40°C. After use in sub-zero temperatures, wait at least 3 hours at room temperature to avoid condensation build-up on the inner surface of the lens, which can cause fogging due to extreme temperature differences.
3. Store the device in a soft tote bag in a ventilated and dry place at a temperature not exceeding +15°C. Keep away from heating equipment, avoid direct sunlight and high humidity not exceeding 70%.
4. NVD should be used at night, not against strong light. If you must test during the day, never remove the front lens cap. You can observe the target through the hole in the protective cap.
5.Use good quality Lithium or Alkaline batteries, poor quality batteries will affect the performance of the NVD and easily damage the device.
6. Try to avoid rain and fog, and avoid falling, shaking and collision.
7. If necessary, use a clean, soft cloth dampened with alcohol.
8. A useful tip is to remove the battery when the night vision device is not used for more than 3 days to prevent battery leakage and damage to the device.
notes: When the ambient light exceeds 40 Lux, it is normal that the device cannot be turned on. The device has a protection system that switches off the image intensifier when ambient light levels exceed the 40 lux limit for 10 seconds.
Failure to observe the above precautions may result in equipment damage and void the manufacturer's warranty.
troubleshooting:
If the device is not turned on
1.Reinstall the battery with correct polarity.
2.Replacement battery.
3.Clean the battery compartment, focusing on the contact points.
Observed image flickering or flickering
This means that there is too much light (such as viewing in twilight conditions). Turn off the device or place the objective cover. The unit will work normally in light conditions not exceeding 0.1Lx (full moon).
Image is missing or out of focus
1.Refocus the unit by adjusting the objective lens. If necessary, adjust the diopter setting by rotating the eyepiece.
2.Check the cleanliness of the objective surface and eyepiece, and clean if necessary.
3.Replacement battery.
4.In extremely low light conditions, activate the built-in IR illuminator.
Image disappears or deteriorates in quality
1.An automatic shutdown may occur to protect the device from excessive light. Attach the objective cap and make sure the unit starts to function properly. Turn off the device and wait until it gets dark to continue watching.
2.Bright light sources (such as street lights) may cause visibility to decrease or disappear. Move the monocular away from the light source and visibility will return on its own after a few minutes.
You see black dots on the screen
These dots are minor cosmetic imperfections during the production of the image intensifier and do not indicate a defect or low quality. These points do not affect the reliability and performance of the monocular.
