The manufacturing process of sintered components proves to be ecological, as material waste is very low, the product is recyclable, and because the material does not melt, it is energy efficient.

1. Raw materials/mixing

Sintered powders can be pure metals (iron, copper) or alloyed powders (bronze, steel, etc.) mixed with different alloying elements, depending on the composition of the final material (eg graphite, nickel, copper...), with organic solid lubricant.

2. Tools/Compact

The powder mixture is compacted inside the mold, which has the negative shape of the final part. The tool is a very precise and durable element. The powder is filled by gravity into the tool cavity of the mixer and is subjected to a pressure of 200 to 1500 MPa depending on the final density to be achieved.

3. Sintering/Inspection

Sintering in a continuous furnace at controlled speed, in a chemically controlled atmosphere, at temperatures between 750 and 1300°C, depending on the material
