Nylon has excellent resistance to most common solvents and can operate continuously at temperatures up to 100°C over a chemical pH range of 7-14. The term "monofilament" means that each thread used in cloth construction is a single smooth solid thread, rather than many smaller diameter threads twisted together like spun or multifilament materials. These monofilament threads are perfectly circular in cross-section and are extruded to very precise and uniform diameters.
