The extruder consists of electric motor, reducer, feeding hopper, protective cover for a heating elements, shut-off valve that are mounted on the rack and remote control. The rotation from the motor is transmitted through the V-belt drive and the reduction gear to the screw.
The screw is a shaft on which windings and blades are attached. The screw consists of 3 parts. The working part of the screw is located in the pipe and closed on both sides by flanges. At the front of the tube is a hopper for loading components. The outlet flange of the extruder is equipped with a shut-off gate.

All of the components (polymer, sand, dye) are loaded into the extruder hopper. The shut-off device must be closed during the loading of the components. The components are going through the extruder body (rack) are mixing and heating until it gets a certain temperature (the temperature depends on the type of polymer used).
The temperature is maintained and controlled automatically by the controller. At the same time, the power consumption is small and induction coils operate alternately to maintaining a certain temperature).The mixed and heated mass exits out of the extruder in a certain portion that is regulated by the shut-off. Then the mass is transferred to the mold of the press for further forming.
