Circular Saw Features and Functions:

1. Electric circular saw is a kind of tool that uses single-phase series-excited motor as power, and then drives circular saw blade for sawing operation through transmission mechanism. It has the characteristics of safety, reliability and high work efficiency.
2. The electric circular saw adopts the squat-type structure, which is mainly composed of an electric motor, a reduction box, a protective cover, an adjustment mechanism, a bottom plate, a handle, a switch, a non-reconnectable plug, a circular saw blade and the like.

Preparation before operation
1. The saw blade, the outer casing and the handle are free from cracks and breakage.
2. The cable cord and plug are intact, the switch operates normally, and the protection connection is correct, firm and reliable.
3. Whether the saw blade is securely mounted, whether the bolt is tightened, and whether the inner and outer chucks clamp the saw blade tightly. Whether the plane of the saw blade is perpendicular to the horizontal axis of the electric circular saw.
4. Check whether the rotation of the movable protective cover is flexible, whether there is any deformation, whether it will rub against the circular saw blade, whether the connection is reliable, and it will not fall off during operation.
5. Check if the side handle is securely installed and it will be loose when holding the operation.
6. Check that the workpiece being cut is firmly fixed.

Operational precautions
1. When starting, the circular saw must be in the suspended position, it will suddenly jump, must be double-held, the finger should not be placed in the switch position, the saw tooth must leave the workpiece to be cut, to prevent the electric circular saw from jumping to touch the workpiece being cut. .
2. After the electric circular saw is started, it should be idling for a period of time to observe whether the saw blade is running normally, whether there is a phenomenon of swinging left and right, whether the electric circular saw is excessively vibrating, and whether the noise is normal.
3. The electric circular saw must pay attention to the position of its cable during operation to prevent electric shock or short circuit accident caused by cutting. The cable should be bypassed and then connected to the power supply, and the body should not be in contact with the cable.
4. The electric circular saw must hold the handle and side handle of the device when carrying out the cutting operation. The finger must not be close to the blade rotating at high speed, and the operator's body must be at an appropriate distance from the device.
5. Do not use electric circular saws above the head to prevent accidents caused by electric circular saws or cut off workpieces.
6. The new saw blade is generally flat. When cutting the saw, it should be selected within the range of 5° to 20°.
7. After the machine is started, it should be operated at no load for a while, check and confirm that the machine linkage is flexible. When working, the afterburner should be balanced and not excessively strong.
