fixed sleeve

The screw pump stop sleeve is one of the typical parts of the screw pump universal joint assembly. It is mainly used to support transmission parts, transmit torque and bear load.

The stop sleeve fits on the rotor and the transmission shaft, and the shaft can be positioned, supported, guided or protected when the screw pump is running

The function of the stop sleeve is generally to prevent the axial movement and fracture of the shaft. In some horizontal pumps, the shaft sleeve is used for axial adjustment, and the packing ring with packing is used for sealing.

Description of the main material of the hoop:

Stainless steel

The main alloying element in stainless steel is Cr, and only when the Cr content reaches a certain amount, the steel is resistant to corrosion. Therefore, stainless steel generally has a Cr (chromium) content of at least 10.5%. Stainless steel also contains Ni, Ti, Mn, N, Nb, Mo, Si, Cu and other elements. The corrosion resistance of stainless steel decreases with the increase of carbon content. Therefore, the carbon content of most stainless steels is low, up to 1.2%, and the Wc (carbon content) of some steels is even lower than 0.03% (such as 00Cr12) .
