Structure & Main technical parameters:

Ford Viscosity Cup produced by our company is in accordance with specification of ASTM D1200. Ford Viscosity Cup is made of corrosion-and solvent-resistant material, material of Ford Cup Body is aluminium alloy, material of Ford Cup Orifice is brass, which is subject to wear with use and cleaning. We adopts similar ISO Flow Cup model, different from  ASTM D1200 recommended model, it is easily cleaned & more firmly placed. Each single cup is calibrated  against standard oil in a factory. If orifice is loosened or taken out from a cup, the cup should be recalibrated.

The following formulas are used to convert the time of flow in seconds, t, to kinematic viscosity V:

Ford Cup No.2  V=1.44(t-18)

Ford Cup No.3  V=2.31(t-6.58)

Ford Cup No.4  V=3.85(t-4.49)

Ford Cup No.5  V=12.1(t-2)

Centistokes×Specific Gravity=Centipoise
