Overview

Conditions of Use

Installation Precautions

1. Before installing this NB direct drinking water meter, please check the signal condition of the installation environment before installation. It is forbidden to install in the basement, remote mountainous areas and other places with weak signals.

2. Select the caliber of the water meter. It should be close to the commonly used flow rate according to the amount of water consumption. Working conditions: a) flow range Q 1 ~ Q 4; b) temperature of metering medium: cold water is 0.1 C ~ 30 C; c) water pressure: 0.03MPa ~ 1.0Mpa, water meter is prohibited from entering with corrosive liquid .

3. Water meter installation should follow the instructions on the dial of the water meter. Those marked with "H" are installed horizontally and those marked with "V" are installed vertically. The arrow on the meter head is consistent with the direction of the water flow in the pipeline. A control valve should be installed upstream of the water meter. Convenient for water meter maintenance.

4. The installation position of the water meter should avoid explosion, freezing, pollution and water flooding, and it should be easy to disassemble. During the freezing period, the water meter and water pipe should be wrapped to prevent frost. At the same time, the water inlet valve should be closed and the water outlet valve should be opened to prevent the water meter from being damaged due to frozen expansion.

5. For newly installed pipes, be sure to wash the stones, sand, silt, and hemp in the pipeline before installing the meter, so as not to cause water meter failure, and the responsibility for the product failure shall be borne by the user.

6. When installing the water meter, pay attention to the connection length of the water meter. When the distance between the two ends of the pipe exceeds the connection length of the water meter, the distance between the pipes should be corrected to meet the length of the connection of the water meter. The joint is broken and the connecting nut is damaged; if the two ends of the water meter are not on the same axis, it should be corrected by other means so that it is on the same axis as the pipe.

7. For accurate measurement, the faucet should be higher than the water meter. The straight pipe section above 10D (D is the pipe diameter) should be kept before the water meter, and the straight pipe section above 5D should be kept after the meter. At the same time, elbows, tees, cone pipes and pumps should be avoided as much as possible. Interference. If the inlet pipe has a reduced diameter pipe, the straight pipe section at the front of the meter is above 15D; when the water inlet pipe has a 90 0 elbow, the straight pipe section at the front of the meter is above 20D; when the inlet pipe has a half-open valve, the front of the meter is straight. The pipe section is above 50D.

8. If the water meter is in accordance with the water inlet of the boiler, the non-return valve should be installed at the water outlet end of the water meter, and the water meter should be kept as far away from the valve as possible to prevent the metal pipe from conducting heat and hot water from returning and scalding the meter. In order for the water meter to work normally for a long time, the water meter should always be filled with water. If air is likely to enter the water meter, a vent valve should be installed upstream of the water meter.

9. The water meter should be prevented from being damaged by the impact or vibration of the surrounding environment of the installation site. The water meter should also be protected from excessive stress caused by pipes and fittings. The water meter must be installed on the base or bracket when necessary. Should prevent the water meter from being damaged by extreme water temperature and extreme temperature, and prevent the water meter from being damaged by the external environment corrosion. Measures should be taken to prevent adverse hydraulic conditions (cavitation, surge, water hammer). The upstream and downstream water pipes should be properly fixed to ensure that no part will be displaced by the thrust of the water when the water meter is removed or the connection on one side is disconnected.

10. In the long-term use of the water meter, if there are debris, rust and other sediments in the pipeline, it will inevitably block the water filter and affect the accurate measurement of water supply. If the above situation occurs, please contact the local water company and resolve it. Disassembly.

11. When the water meter is not in use, if the pointer rotates slightly, it is caused by insufficient water pressure in the pipeline or other reasons. It is recommended to close the control valve upstream of the water pipe when the water meter is not in use and install a check valve at the water inlet .

12. The water meter should not be directly connected to the pipeline. The water meter and the pipeline should be connected by connecting pipes, sealing gaskets, and connecting nuts. When disassembling, do not use hard force to avoid damage to the case.

13. When installing a water meter with a water-saving function, a special pipe joint must be provided at the water inlet to reduce the rotation phenomenon caused by water pressure fluctuations.

14. The manufacturer is not responsible for the water meter and related damage caused by failure to install in accordance with the installation precautions.

Transport storage

1. Water meter transportation and unpacking should not be subjected to severe impacts. It should be transported and stored in accordance with GB / T 13384-2008 "General Technical Conditions for Packaging of Mechanical and Electrical Products".

2. The water meter should be stored in the original packaging, the ambient temperature of the storage place is 5 o C ~ 50 o C, the relative humidity should not exceed 90%, and there is no corrosive gas in the air.

3. The signal condition of the water meter storage environment should be good, so that the water meter can find the online report normally.

4. The water meter should be stored in a warehouse and should be placed on a bench. The stacked height should not exceed 5 floors. The storage time should not exceed 6 months, and the performance inspection should be re-examined.

 Warranty

Within one year from the date of sale of our company's smart water meter, users comply with the requirements of the instruction manual for normal use, and when the lead seal cap of the manufacturer is complete and there is no artificial damage, it is found that the product does not meet the requirements specified in the enterprise standard The factory will provide free repair. If it cannot be used normally after two repairs within the warranty period, it will be replaced.

Note: If the product model specifications and technical indicators are changed, the manufacturer has the final interpretation right. The metering standard of this meter is a mechanical water meter. When the circuit board fails and cannot be repaired temporarily, the mechanical reading shall prevail.
