1. Crushing and premixing
Limestone, clay, iron ore, coal, etc. Limestone is the most used raw material in cement production. After mining, limestone has large particle size and high hardness, so limestone crushing plays a more important role in cement plants.
2. Raw material preparation
In a cement production line, at least 3 tons of materials (including raw materials, fuel, clinker, mixture, and gypsum) need to be ground to produce 1 ton of cement. The grinding operation consumes about 60% of the total electric energy of the cement plant, and the raw material grinding consumes more than 30%, while the coal mill used in the cement plant consumes 3%, and the cement grinding consumes about 40%.
