2. Process flow description of magnesium production line
The finely crushed dolomite is transported to the hopper at the top of the preheater by an inclined belt conveyor, and then discharged into the preheater from the feeding trough. The high-temperature gas from the rotary kiln can preheat the dolomite to 800°C. Some dolomite dissociates after preheating. After this process, the dolomite is pushed out by the hydraulic push rod and enters the rotary kiln through the conveyor slide for calcination at 1100-1250°C. All the calcined materials are discharged into the cooler to be cooled to below 100°C, and then discharged into the next process for grinding.
