The GCR series crystallizers are used for continuous crystallization of amorphous materials such as PET, TPU and PLA. Recycling is becoming increasingly important from a cost and efficiency perspective. In order to avoid agglomeration of the recycled PET material at temperatures up to 180°C, the GCR series crystallizers should be used before the drying process. The agitator hopper is equipped with a high-performance drive motor. The amorphous material in the hopper is kept in motion at a controlled temperature until the crystallization is completed and can then continue to be further processed.

Once the feeding starts, the heating fan starts to heat the material. When the feeding amount is higher than the material level switch, the control cabinet stops sending signals to the feeder. Then the material continues to be heated for a period of time. When the temperature control needle detects that the set crystallization temperature value has been reached, the material is transported out through the feeding device; at the same time, as the material level in the hopper gradually decreases, the feeding device starts to supply uncrystallized material to achieve a continuous crystallization process. When the temperature control needle detects the temperature value at which feeding stops, the feeding device stops. If the temperature rises again and reaches the set crystallization temperature, the feeding device starts to work, and this cycle is repeated to achieve a continuous crystallization process.
